4010 Diesel turns to cinder

Father in law was pushing some brush into the brush fire we were burning doing some pasture cleanup, when he went to back uphill, it stalled, no brakes since the engine died, into the fire it went...he tried to crank it, it didn't start, so he bailed, and it burned.

Good thing is nobody was hurt.
